Ohio State professor shares experiences with human trafficking at annual event

Featured expert: Elaine Richardson, professor of literacy studies, Department of Teaching and Learning, shared her personal experiences with human trafficking at the Eighth Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Day. The statehouse event was for law enforcement officers, experts, advocates and survivors and featured dozens of speakers. “I think that we have to understand that we’re all human beings and we can’t look at people as throwaways,” Richardson said.
